Publishing Your Agent on Agentpunkt: A Step-by-Step Guide
Welcome to the Agentpunkt marketplace! Sharing your AI agent with our community is a straightforward process. This guide will walk you through the submission workflow to ensure your agent gets published quickly and reaches the right audience.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have the following ready:
- An active Agentpunkt account.
- Agent Details: Name, description, and technical specifications.
- Visual Assets: A high-quality logo (icon) and at least one screenshot.
- Pricing Information: Details on your pricing model (Free, Paid, or Subscription).
Step 1: Access the Submission Portal
- Log In: Sign in to your account at Agentpunkt.
- Navigate to Published Agents: In the left-hand sidebar menu, click on the "Published Agents" tab.
- Initiate Submission: Click the "Submit Agents" button located at the top of the page. This will open the multi-step submission form.
Step 2: Complete the Submission Form
The submission form is divided into three main sections to ensure all necessary metadata is captured for our marketplace and Vertex AI Search.
Section 1: Basic Information
This section focuses on the identity and purpose of your agent.
- Agent Name: A unique, catchy name.
- Tagline: A brief one-liner explaining what the agent does.
- Description: A detailed explanation of features, use cases, and benefits. This is indexed for search, so be thorough.
- Categories: Select relevant tags to help users filter results.
- URLs: Provide links for your Agent Website and Documentation. High-quality documentation significantly improves approval rates.
Section 2: Technical & Visuals
Here you provide the assets that make your agent stand out.
- Visual Assets:
- Icon: Upload a square image (PNG/JPG) to represent your agent.
- Screenshots: Upload at least one screenshot showing the agent in action. You can add multiple screenshots to showcase different workflows.
- Videos (Optional): Add a YouTube or Vimeo link to demonstrate your agent’s capabilities in real-time.
- Features List: Add specific "Bullet Point" features. These appear as a highlighted list on your marketplace page.
- Version: Specify the current version (e.g., 1.0.0).
Section 3: Pricing & Review
Define how users will access your agent.
- Pricing Model: Select between One-time, Monthly, or Free.
- Price: Enter the amount (in USD).
- Included Items: Use the "Add Item" tool to list what exactly the user gets (e.g., "24/7 Support", "API Access", "Unlimited Tasks").
- Discount (Optional): Enable a discount percentage for launch promotions. You will see both the Original and Discounted price displayed for transparency.
Step 3: Final Submission and Review
Once you have filled out all required fields:
- Review your data: Ensure all links work and descriptions are free of typos.
- Submit Application: Click the "Submit Application" button. You will see a "Submitting..." indicator while our system processes your assets.
- Review Process: Your submission will enter our queue. Our team reviews every agent to ensure it meets our quality, security, and performance standards.
- Status Updates: You can track whether your application is "Pending", "Approved", or "Rejected" in the Published Agents section.
- Marketplace Listing: Once approved, your agent will be automatically added to the Agentpunkt Marketplace and become visible to all users.
Tips for a Successful Submission
- Keyword Optimization: Use relevant keywords in your description. This helps Vertex AI Search surface your agent when users ask natural language questions like "What agent can help me with SEO?"
- Included Items Matter: Clearly listing features in the Pricing section (Step 3) helps users justify the purchase and reduces support queries.
- Professional Visuals: Use high-resolution icons and clear, un-cluttered screenshots. Agents with video demos typically see a 30% higher conversion rate.
